GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

o All prices exclude VAT.
• Booking, Billing and Payment
o The person / entity making the booking will be invoiced for the entire trip / hunt and is responsible
for settling the account in full. Accounts will not be split.
o No discount will be given for cash due to the additional risk and cost of handling.
o A VAT invoice will be provided.
• Injured Game
o Due to the nature of the activity injured and lost animals are an unfortunate reality.
o All animals deemed by the guide to be injured will be charged at full price.
o For the sake of clarity, an animal will be assumed to be injured if there is:
a clear sound of bullet impact, or
a clear response of the animal to the bullet impact (jumping, dropping etc), or
blood spoor is located
o Every effort will be made to track and locate the injured animal – up to a maximum time of 90
minutes, at which point it will be deemed to have been lost
o Bullet strikes anywhere on the animal will be deemed to be impact – including the horns
o If, during the course of the days hunting, a freshly wounded animal is identified and not claimed by
an individual hunter, it will be added to the group account.

🦓 The Hunting Area
The heart of Harts Rust is the Leeu Gamka Dam, lying right within the hunting area. The dense thornveld that hugs the rivers feeding into the dam attracts species rarely found in the region – creating a unique environment for both plains and bush hunting. Whether stalking along the rivers, glassing the rocky koppies, or scanning the open plains, every outing is a new adventure.
Game is plentiful and varied, including Springbok, Blesbok, Gemsbok, Red Hartebeest, Wildebeest (Blue, Black & Golden), Zebra, Kudu, Impala, Lechwe, Waterbuck, Fallow Deer, and Warthog, among others. Each species presents its own challenge, ensuring a hunting experience suited to every skill level.
